Whicham Hall Farm

Stay on a traditional working farm, situated in the beautiful and peaceful Whicham Valley close to Silecroft, Millom, and Broughton-in-Furness on the very edge of the Lake District National Park.

We offer a choice of two B&B bedrooms including a traditional, spacious double en-suite, which is located in our 17th Century farmhouse with lovely garden views, plus a newly converted barn room with exposed stonework, original beams and a private terrace with fell views.

The Old Back Shed

A beautifully converted barn with original features, exposed stonework and beams. A roll-top bath and underfloor heating help leave you feeling well-rested. There are superb views of Blackcombe from the bi-folding doors and private patio area.
Well behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement.

The Garden Room

A king-sized bed, with Egyptian cotton sheets in a charming room in our 17th Century farmhouse, with original sash windows. There is a small kitchenette area with a refrigerator and a Belfast sink.

Superb Location

Enjoy a peaceful rural setting. Less than two miles to the beach at Silecroft and only half a mile from the foot of Black Combe, which is one of the Lake District's Wainwright Peaks. The stunning Hadbarrow Lagoon (RSPB Nature Reserve) is located just five miles away, which includes a lovely 3-mile circular walking route that passes sandy beaches and a lighthouse.
